Trebon:
Trebon is an original brand of M/s Mitsui Toatsu Chemicals, Inc. of Japan. In India this brand is promoted by M/s Coromandel Agrico Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi.
This is a new type of insecticide, which is composed of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen only. This is a product also known as clean as this is soft to earth and has very little influence on environment. Because of these properties and being safe to mammals, fish, Trebon is considered compatible with IPM (Integrated Pest management) programme.

Recommendations for use and Doses:
This product takes care of major pests of Rice, but also effective on pests of Vegetables, Fruits, Cotton, Tea, Forest and Cereals.
Dose:
Recommended dose of Trebon is 250ml to 400ml per acre. Please see the table giving Crop wise recommendations.

Method of Appliction:
Mix the recommended dose in 200 litre of water and spray uniformly on the crop targeting the pest with the help of a knapsack or tractor mounted sprayer.
Trebon - as best insecticide for the control of the BPH:
1) Quick killing action on BMP
2) Effective against almost all stages of BPH except eggs in the sheath
3) Minimizes removal of the plant sap by BPH
4) It has an effect on reducing the BPH's OVI - Position

Since Trebon gives wide spectrum control on variety of insects and also fits in IPM programme we can strongly advocate the usage of this product in the crops recommended above the slight increase in cost of application is very well justified with the benefits delivered by the products like perfect kill and long persistency, which ultimately would merit the farmer's attention.
Very recently, we have promoted Trebon on Grapes, Mango, other fruits like pomegranate and Vegetables in our Western Zone and farmers are absolutely happy with an effective control of the pests. The international trial reports in the countries like Phillipines, Japan, Taiwan, Italy, USA are evidence of controlling pests with Trebon on the crops like Mango, Rice and Cotton.
